Frequently asked questions
Do I have to wear a suit and tie?
No, there are no
requirements to dress formally.
Do I have to give money?
A collection is made during the service, but this is really for
members of the church—please feel free to make a donation, but don’t feel under
any pressure to give anything.

Church of England?
No, services at St.Helen’s are open to
everyone.

side chapel, but please just ask someone and they will be happy to help. We have
a dedicated prayer ministry team who treat all requests for prayer
confidentially.

Morning services usually last just under an hour; people will usually stay
for a cup of tea/coffee and to chat after a service has

Holy Communion
(also known as ‘The Eucharist’) is an act of worship where bread and wine are
shared to remember Jesus' sacrifice. As with all our services, everyone is
